Raw Edges’ Cosmic Table is both deceptively simple and remarkably ingenious: its base, which resembles an endless ribbon, was originally created using just three pieces of interlocking paper. Constructed in innovative carbon fibre, the organic shape is covered with richly coloured leather, which elegantly contrasts with the edges, or is lacquered in its outdoor version. The table’s top is available in lighter clear glass or textured glass handcrafted using centuries-old Venetian techniques to resemble a disc of ice whose delicately rippling texture gracefully casts shifting, water-like reflections and shadows.
